Webgate permissions

Users with this permissions are admins. They can be admins for an organization, project or room and can edit all settings.

The "Manage Content" right allows for comprehensive management and organization of content. With this right, users can create, edit, rename, and delete folders, playlists and galleries. Files can be renamed and deleted, and they can be added to or removed from folders, galleries, and playlists. Batch processing functions enable the simultaneous editing of multiple objects, making it easier to manage large volumes of data. Additionally, notifications can be sent, and ALE metadata can be added. Overall, the "Manage Content" right offers a wide range of tools for efficient content management. If a user is to work comprehensively in a room, they should have the "Manage Content" right.

Users with this permission can approve and disapprove content. They can see disapproved and approved content and change the status of the object. This permission is also valid in a directlinks context.

Users with this permission can comment on playlists, videoclips and galleries, as well as see comments made by other users. This permission is also valid in a directlinks context.

Users with this permission can vote and see voting results. This permission is also valid in a directlinks context.

Depending on the permission for either client or projects, users having this permission can see statistics and reports as well as generate PDF reports.

Users with this permission may download mediafiles. Those are playlists, videoclips with or without watermarks. They can access downloadfileinformation (framerate etc). This permission is also valid in a directlinks context.

Users may only download shared files (via zip file download or mass download).

Users may download source files, usually clips.

Users may generate directlinks.

Users may upload shared files.

Users may add, edit and delete metadata.

Users may view playlists and videoclips. This permission is also valid in a directlinks context. The permission is limited to the room.

The permission can be issued for an organization, project or room. These users can add, edit, delete watermarks, link and move objects.

This permission is automatically assigned to a user with the room admin role. A user with the room admin role can upload and edit watermarks.
